SPEECH & LANGUAGE SERVICES

Speech and Language Therapy

Speech and language therapy provides life-changing treatment, support and care for children and adults who have difficulties with communication, or with eating, drinking and swallowing. Our therapy is individually designed to meet the needs of each child and family. We utilize current methods of therapy based on the latest research developments in speech and language disorders.

Screenings

A brief review that assesses a child’s speech, receptive and expressive language, and voice and fluency skills. Screenings can be done on site at your child’s school, preschool or daycare facility.

Comprehensive Speech Language Evaluations

An in-depth assessment of a child’s speech, receptive and expressive language skills, and voice and fluency skills. We have qualified therapists who can also evaluate any concerns with your child’s feeding.

Auditory Verbal Therapy & Aural Habilitation Pre-Lingual Hearing Loss

Children learn to use their amplified hearing to listen to their own voices, the voices of others, and the sounds of their environment in order to understand spoken communication and develop meaningful conversations.

Classroom Consultations

Recommendations on your child’s speech and language needs provided to teachers and administrators based upon observations within the classroom environment.

In-Service Training

Presentations covering a wide variety of speech and language and related topics offered to classroom teachers, preschools, childcare facilities, parent support groups and other professionals, groups and organizations.

ASHA Certified

KidSpeak is staffed by ASHA-certified speech-language pathologists, dedicated to empowering children with the skills to communicate confidently and effectively. Have questions about your child’s speech and language skills? Please contact us!

We are happy to answer your questions and guide you in the right next step for you. We can schedule a speech and language assessment to determine if your child would benefit from speech and language therapy. If you have a current speech and language assessment, we may be able to go ahead and schedule weekly treatment sessions.
